Sacramento, California - The Bureau of Reclamation and seven Central Valley Project contractors intend to execute two-year interim renewal contracts effective March 1, 2013; the existing contracts expire on February 28, 2013. This contracting action will comply with requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act and Endangered Species Act.

Environmental documents supporting this action will be available for public review and comment later this month.

The draft contracts for the cities of Avenal, Coalinga, Huron and Roseville; the California Department of Fish and Game; the Panoche Water District; and the San Luis Water District are available for public review at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/cvpia/3404c/lt_contracts/index.html.
