St. Louis, Missouri (NAPSI) - Traveling 12,000 miles in 31 days, four Navy SEAL bikers honored one of their own and you can go along for the ride.

The Man

Chief Petty Officer Lance Vaccaro, a highly decorated Navy SEAL, gave his life for his country in 2008.

The Trip

To honor his sacrifice, four riders and a support team launched the Lance Vaccaro Memorial Ride, which covered the continental United States—from Virginia to Alaska and back—in his honor and memory. “Ride for Lance” is an inspiring story about friends, family and a brother warrior who will never be forgotten.

The Film

Now you can get the DVD of that pilgrimage. Navy veteran Scott Mactavish, who produced the critically acclaimed documentary “Murph: The Protector,” presents this film, capturing the true emotions of those involved. Candid interviews with those who knew Vaccaro and over 100 hours of footage have been culled into a moving, inspiring and thoughtful film that, again, demonstrates the depth of sacrifices our military continues to make and the profound power of patriotism.

The bikers experience the thrill of the open road while meeting thousands of Americans along the way including active-duty troops, veterans and families, who share their own stories of heartbreak and pride.

“Ride for Lance” is available on iTunes and DVD at Walmart.

The Foundation

In honor of Vaccarro, Anchor Bay Films will make a donation to the Navy SEAL Foundation. That organization provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community. The Foundation coordinates closely with NSW commands to support the critical needs of special operators and their families. It’s also a critical cornerstone of support for the families of the fallen.
